Food was great and low cost. Big portions for the price. Felt like a home made meal.
Salsa was a bit spicy but good.
Only bad thing about this place is that it is small with only a handful of tables. Bathrooms are outside.
Overall pleased with this place. Most likely coming back for more. -

If you are looking for REAL Mexican food, don't let the hole in the wall appearance fool you into thinking it's authentic! It's a FAR cry from authentic Mexican food.
If your taco comes with PICO DE GALLO, it is NOT authentic.
We passed on the pico de Gallo, but the food itself was still very bland.
Tacos de asada were dryyyyyy, tortas had too much asada that was flavorless along with an over abundance or plain beans and unseasoned guacamole.
If you want to add anything extra like lettuce or cheese, you know the STANDARD ingredients in a TORTA,there is an upcharge!!
I will pay extra for authenticity, no problem, but this was overpriced and NOT good. Even our 6 year old couldn't finish his taco.
If you are craving delicious LA street tacos/food, keep driving. -

Awwww yeaaaa.
Looking for a cheap alternative to what is being offered at El Farolito or El Cantarito? Come on over!
Hubby and my go-to drug -- I mean, snack -- is the chips and cheese. It's purely just tortilla chips with melted cheese on top of it, but it's just crack to us. The hamburgers are really good, and they are definitely built according to their weight (1/4 lb, 1/3 lb, 1/2lb); only thing we don't really about the hamburgers is that it's pretty gross on the second day if you don't finish it that initial day. Just soggy, no flavor, can't hold itself up, etc. Burritos are good, and tacos are okay.
With the above being said, Q-Tortas is not gourmet food. This is like the fast food version of El Farolito or El Cantarito, and I guess it could be considered "crap" food because you'll likely get noooo kind of nutritional value of any sort. But, if you need food, it'll hit your cravings, it's cheap, and it's quick enough. -

If you don't know spanish and want to be treated with respect, Don't come here. If you want good quality tortas, don't come here. Read my review down below for explanation.
I don't normally write reviews but felt the need for this place. I came here twice, and was treated rudely both times. First time I came, I came an hour and 20 minutes from closing & I was told that they ran out of torta buns so they could not make me one. (Q-tortas with no tortas?) so I got the carne asada burrito. Then After purchasing my food, I was told that I would have to get my food to go... whatever. Burrito was actually good, I enjoyed it. Comes with meat beans & pico de Gallo. Second time I came, I got the torta and was very disappointed. Buns were dry (which they shouldn't have been if they really were "out" and they recently restocked), carne asada was dry. Disappointment. After the rude service, I will not be returning to try other food options.
P.S. I found this other place with better quality tortas, good service, & good prices. Rivera's Fresh Tacos in Fullerton. Can't beat it -

This has been one of our family go-tos since the days of my mum's youth! They have thee BEST sopes in all of OC, I recommend getting 2 and pairing with a side of fries with cheese! Best combo ever, you won't regret it
